Our semi-regular feature, Monday Mansion, examines the most interesting mega homes on the market in the far reaches of New York. Have a listing in mind that we're missing? Tell us about it. To the outer boroughs we go!
When we checked in with this Dyker Heights mansion last December, it was new to market—and asking a whopping $6.45 million. In the nearly 12 months since, the house hasn't budged; instead, it's gotten a series of price cuts, the most recent of which took it down to a ever-so-slightly more reasonable $4.65 million. Now that it's back on the market, let's revisit the over-the-top home, shall we? It has six bedrooms and four bathrooms, two of which are in a small annex in the attic. (Yup, there's an attic.) There's a sun room with large, arched windows, and the backyard is a veritable urban oasis, with lush plants, a heated in-ground pool, and a separate Jacuzzi. Is it worth $4.65 million? You be the judge.
