Live In Bjarke Ingels's Tetrahedron From Just $565/Month

New, 1 comment

Rents have yet to be announced for market-rate units in Bjarke Ingels's awaited 57th Street tetrahedron, but the lottery for the 709-unit building's subsidized apartments is now open, 6sqft reports. Rents for the Holy Tostitos' 142 affordable apartments start at just $565 for a studio. One-bedrooms start at $607, two-bedrooms at $735, and three-bedrooms at $843. Of course, income restrictions apply. Considering that 91,000 people submitted applications to live in the just-as-far-west and considerably less cool Sky's 245 subsidized rentals, the number of applicants for Via—yes, that's its official name—may veer into the six-digits.

Market rate rentals in the building are expected to be available in early 2016.
