Charming Kips Bay Triplex With Two Terraces Wants $759K

New, 19 comments

Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

It's getting to be the time of year when having outdoor space on your apartment matters less and less, but we can't help but be charmed by this Kips Bay one-bedroom that has not one, but two separate terraces. One is actually a private roof deck that measures about 300 square foot, which will be a boon come summertime. The apartment itself is also rather adorable: It's a split-level pad, with the living room on the first floor, a "gallery" and kitchen on the second, and the bedroom (nicely sized at 13-by-10-feet) and adjoining terrace on the third level. The unit on the top floor of the building, so you even get that penthouse feel minus the penthouse prices: it's going for $759,000.
