The Soho Loft From Ghost Is Still Around, Now Asking $9.5M

New, 9 comments

Halloween is fast approaching, and we've got all things spooky—movies about ghosts, goblins, and everything in between—on the brain this week. It's also a good time to revisit some of NYC's spookier real estate offerings, such as this loft at 102 Prince Street, which was used in the 1990 weepie Ghost. It originally listed back in April for $10.5 million, but it's since gotten a series of price cuts—the most recent one, about three weeks ago, took it down to $9.5 million. Little else has changed: It still has three bedrooms, an open kitchen, oversized windows, exposed brick walls, and the knowledge that you live where Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore once made beautiful pottery together. And if this isn't bonkers enough for you, the building's 8,000-square-foot penthouse is on the rental market for a whopping $85,000 per month. Scary.
