Well, that was quick. Just a few months after Julia Roberts put her Greenwich Village penthouse on the market, the apartment—located at 45 West 10th Street—has sold, according to the New York Observer. Remarkably, it actually sold for more than the asking price: It was listed in July for $4.5 million, but buyer Nicolas de Croisset (a financier who's married to Vogue's Phoebe de Croisset) snapped it up for $5.35 million. (No explanation was offered for the price jump: Was there a bidding war? Is he just a really big Pretty Woman fan? We may never know.) The actress originally had two NYC penthouses in her real estate portfolio (which also includes a ranch in New Mexico, a Malibu mansion, and a Hawaiian estate that she listed this spring), and she's still holding on that second penthouse at 7 Gramercy Park West—and considering it comes with a key to the park, we don't blame her.
