Leasing is now underway at the 13-story Lower East Side building that calls itself Jones LES, according to Buzz Buzz Home.

The building, which is located at 331 East Houston Street, has 78 apartments, 20 percent of which are affordable. Rents range from $2,854 for a studio and go up to $5,477 for a two-bedroom. There are currently five apartments listed for rent in the building.

Some of the amenities in the building include a landscaped rooftop with a outdoor screening area, a sun terrace with a misting shower, and grilling areas. Other amenities include a fitness center, a library, and 24-hour lobby lounge.

Jones LES has been developed by Halpern Real Estate Ventures and designed by the Stephen B. Jacobs Group. Douglas Elliman is overseeing the sales and marketing.

The building derives it's name from Judge Thomas Jones, who in 1776 owned a home at the site of this building, which was then called Jones Hill, the highest point in the Lower East Side, according to the brokerbabble.
