In Dumbo, ODA's Factory Conversion Makes Progress

Like many former industrial sites in Dumbo, the Jay Street Arts Building at 51 Jay Street has been on its way to residential for some time now. Now, the development from Slate Property Group has topped out, according to Brownstoner. The ODA New York-designed project adds four stories to the existing three-story building, making room for 74 condos ranging from studios to four-bedrooms. The center of the building has been cut out to create an atrium and allow for operable interior windows. Completion is expected in 2016 and the building is already 75 percent sold.
