Jersey City's First Journal Squared Tower Close to Topping Out

New, 7 comments

New York has plenty of megaprojects and tall towers keeping developers busy, but across the Hudson River in New Jersey, a smaller-scale building boom is taking place. One of the biggest projects transforming Jersey City is Journal Squared, a mixed-use development from Kushner Real Estate Group and National Real Estate Advisors. In addition to its three residential towers (with nearly 1,900 apartments between them), Journal Squared will also have a revamped transportation hub for the PATH train, along with 36,000 square feet of retail space. Field Condition recently took a trip to the development to document construction on the first tower, which is close to reaching its full 53-story height.
