See 'Baltic,' the Brooklyn Condo By Walker Tower Developer

New, 7 comments

It's been a while since we heard about JDS Development's in-the-works condo building at 613 Baltic Street in Park Slope, but today, a teaser website for the development—now known as Baltic—launched. It doesn't have much in the way of details, but that's what we're here for. We've also got a new rendering, which you can see above.

The building, which is expected to be completed in 2017, will be predictably fancy—we are talking about the developer responsible for the Walker Tower and 111 West 57th Street, after all—despite its location near Brooklyn's "Canyon of Mediocrity." There will be 44 units kitted out with luxe materials—marble, granite, oak, you know the drill—and amenities will include a porte-cochere and private parking. VOA Architecture, which is also behind the forthcoming Virgin Hotel in Manhattan, is working on the project with JDS, and sales should launch early next year.
