See Inside Oosten, Williamsburg's Piet Boon-Designed Condo

New, 4 comments

Williamsburg's schmancy Oosten condos are still a ways off from being move-in ready, but a recent update from Field Condition (via Brownstoner) shows that Piet Boon-designed building is starting to actually resemble its renderings. What this means: the floor-to-ceiling windows have been installed, giving the building its glassy exterior, and the interior courtyard is getting built out. The enormous project will occupy a full city block on Kent Avenue between South 8th and 9th Streets, and it's not only one of Williamsburg's largest projects—it takes up half a million square feet—but also one of the priciest, with a recent penthouse sale that's poised to break a neighborhood record for the most expensive apartment sold there.
