Annabelle Selldorf's Seven-Story Soho Condo Tops Out

New, 8 comments

The Annabelle Selldorf-designed $1 million parking spot building, also known as 42 Crosby Street has topped out, two years after the project was first announced, Field Condition reports.

The seven-story building features nine, three-bedroom apartments, and a two-story penthouse at the top of the building. Prices for the apartments range from $8.7 million to $10.45 million and the penthouse is going for $25 million.

But it's not the apartment prices that has everyone talking, it's the building's outrageously priced underground parking spots. For $1 million, residents get a 99-year lease on a 150-200 square foot parking lot.

The building is being developed by Atlas Capital Group, the developers behind the St. John's Terminal revamp.

Proposals for this project went through a series of Landmarks Commission hearings before finally making the cut the third time around.

The ground of the building also features space for retail and a lobby for the residents. The project is set to finish sometime next year.
