Gramercy Park Will Open Its Gates To All on Christmas Eve

New, 14 comments

The elusive Gramercy Park—Manhattan's ritzy keyed-entry arboretum for the more fortunate—will open its gates to all on Christmas Eve. In keeping with a tradition held by The Parish of Calvary St. George, plebes will be allowed access into the park to listen to caroling at 6 p.m. on December 24 (h/t TONY via 6sqft). It is perhaps the only day of the year the park opens its gates to those without one of its 383 keys. Bring an umbrella, though—the forecast calls for rain.
