A limousine garage in Hell's Kitchen has sold for a staggering $36.5 million, The Real Deal reports. The 95,000 square foot plot is zoned for commercial or industrial purposes
An unnamed buyer that goes by 624 West 47th Street LLC purchased the site earlier this month.
The site, which is located at 624-636 West 47th Street, between 11th and 12th Avenues is currently home to a two-story building run by the Smith Limousine Company, who sold the property to the unnamed buyer.
The lower level acts as the limousine garage and the second floor has offices.
It's unclear at the moment if the existing building will be demolished, and if the new project at the site will be residential. The property is located just a block away from the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.
