An East Harlem studio that's in contract for $1.2 million is poised to break the neighborhood's record for price per square foot for a studio, the New York Post reports. The 838-square-foot studio at One Museum Mile, Robert A.M. Stern's Fifth Avenue-fronting contribution to the neighborhood, is priced at $1,438 per square foot. While the Post doesn't elaborate on exactly which unit is in contract, the listing for 11E, an alcove studio that looks more like a one-bedroom, fits the bill. The neighborhood's general record for price per square foot is also held by an apartment in One Museum Mile, a three-bedroom, three-bathroom pad that sold for $3.6 million, or $2,030 per square foot.
