An AirTrain to LaGuardia may not be the best choice for public transit to the Queens airport, but something needs to be done, as a study by the Global Gateway Alliance found that LaGuardia, JFK, and Newark are the worst airports when it comes to the travel time it takes to get to and from the runway. Out of the world's 30 busiest airports, our three airports came in last. The study looked at "total travel time, cost, mode of transport and number of transfers." JFK scored 30 out of 100 points, while the other two scored 40. [NJBiz; previously]
