Test-prep company Kaplan has just inked a deal for 80,000 square feet of space at 750 Third Avenue, trading down from its larger offices on Hudson Street. The offices were formerly leased by Condé Nast, who are now occupying 1WTC, and the asking rent on the space is about $40 per square foot, significantly lower than the Midtown average, where Class A office space generally rents for almost double. Kaplan will move into the space in June, when Condé Nast's lease expires. [Crain's]
