The Lightstone Group has been trying to make peace with the neighborhoods who have been complaining about the noise from the developer's 700-unit rental complex rising on the banks of the Gowanus by describing the noise beforehand. A message from the developer's public relations firm to the neighbors promises "approximately 30 working days" of pile driving, starting on Wednesday. Perhaps Lightstone should go the neighbors-throwing-a-party route and disingenuously invite the locals to come help pile drive. [PMFA; previously]
