Flatiron's 'Affordable Luxury' Apartments Will Rent From $4,500

New, 9 comments

Developer GRJ, operated by brothers Graham and Gregory Jones, is converting a former Flatiron loft building into 12 "affordable luxury" apartments to be known as Madison Park 24. The ten rentable apartments at 41 West 24th Street, all three-bedrooms, will be asking between $4,500 and $6,000 per month, so for whom that is affordable is vague. The luxury part of the brokerbabble sounds more legitimate, at least when it comes to apartment amenities, in that they will have radiant heated bathroom floors, touchless toilets by Kohler, stainless steel appliances including a wine cooler, and a stacked washer and dryer. The building between Fifth and Sixth avenues will also have a ground floor restaurant. No rental launch date has been pegged but judging from the photos, it's not too far off.
