Just inside the newly built Richard J. Lee Elementary school in Coppell, Texas, is a first-floor, unenclosed library that makes up the core of the building. Amy Holzle, an architect with Stantec, calls it a "hub that the kids interact with," and the same could be said of much of the school, which is designed to look more like a tech office than a traditional house of learning. Curbed National has the full story on its design. [Curbed National]
