'Horizontal Addition' to Bushwick Church Reaches Full Height

The "horizontal addition" at 616 Bushwick Avenue that Cayuga Capital is attaching to the St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church has topped out, Brownstoner reports. The structure, which will contain some of the conversion's 99 rental units, is still covered in scaffolding and netting, though, so we're still no closer to knowing what it's going to look like than we were when a rendering that Cayuga itself described as "terrible" surfaced. The church, which was used as the set for the movie Rover, is also still wrapped in scaffolding, and the former school between the church and the addition appears to be a hollowed out shell. So this project still has a ways to go.
