This Brutalist-Looking Building May Afflict Williamsburg

New, 15 comments

Developer Adam America has revealed another of its many Williamsburg projects, this time the 38-apartment building coming to North 7th and Meeker streets. The developer picked up the lot in November for $18.3 million or roughly $432 per buildable square foot, one of the highest prices ever paid in the borough. The Kutnicki Bernstein Architects design may be preliminary, but it still gives an idea of the scope of the building that will come to the site. YIMBY notes that 19 parking spaces are required at the site by zoning, so the garage entrance will likely remain the same. Apartments in the building will average 1,100-square-feet in size. No word yet on whether these are rentals or condos.
