15 Central Park West Pad Wants $29M After Owner Paid $5.9M

New, 13 comments

The Limestone Jesus is no stranger to big flips, but this one is outrageous even by 15 Central Park West standards. Anesthesiologist Dr. Anna Sokolova bought this 2,367-square-foot two-bedroom unit for $5.9 million in 2008 and has now put it back on the market for $29 million. That comes out to an asking price of $12,251 per square foot. If it gets the full ask, it will amount to 392 percent return on investment, in a mere seven years. It doesn't look like anything much has been done to the place, either. Also, unlike many apartments in the building, it has no outdoor space. Then again, 15 Central Park West apartments seem to pretty much always sell for whatever astronomical number they ask, so this will be an interesting one to watch.
