$14M Upper East Side Townhouse Is 'Perfect for Chic Parties'

New, 7 comments

Not everything merits being the object of snark, and such is the case with this perfectly nice Upper East Side townhouse. The five-story home at 167 East 71st Street was built in 1910 and sold to finance guy Kevin Luzak for $6.25 million in 2004. After some thorough renovations and 11 years of townhouse stewardship, Luzak's put the five-bedroom home back on the market for $13.995 million. The brokerbabble game in its listing is strong, noting the townhouse's "truly magical" air and insisting it's layout is "perfect for chic parties". Unfortunately, we can't vouch for the parties, but there is something about the house that's just really nice.
