Sinclair Lewis's Former El Dorado Penthouse Asks $29 Million

New, 5 comments

A duplex penthouse in the Upper West Side's celebrity-filled El Dorado has come to market asking $29 million. The unit, according to its broker, according to the Times, is the very one that was once occupied by Nobel Prize-winning author Sinclair Lewis. Whether or not that claim is true, it's still a very impressive apartment with four corner terraces (one of which has been enclosed to create a solarium) and a large entertaining space on the upper level that was once used as a communal club by the residents of the building.
