The Williamsburg waterfront property where a CitiStorage warehouse went up in flames this weekend (and is still smoldering) was designated a decade ago as future parkland, and locals hope that the tragic fire may lead to something positive for the park. But the city has yet to buy the land from warehouse owner Norm Brodsky, and there is no plan in place to do so, which makes neighbors worry that someone else may snap it up first.
