Leona Helmsley's PH Is $3.2M; The 'Jetsons House' Lists

The latest from our outpost in the sixth borough, Curbed Miami...

1) Brickell: A Brickell Avenue penthouse which was built for "Queen of Mean" Leona Helmsley, and then owned by an Arab Sheik who transformed it into a Moroccan oasis, has stagnated on the market for the past few years. Most recently, the price of the 5,000 square foot aerie was chopped by a cool million, to a seemingly paltry $3.2 million.

2) Morningside: A sleek, midcentury number known by its neighbors as the Jetsons House is on the market for a rather steep $2.2 million. The house is architecturally quite stunning, but needs some love, and a little elbow grease.

3) MIA: There's much talk in Miami about the future location of a soccer stadium which David Beckham is building for his new Miami-based soccer franchise. The latest word is that the stadium could be located either adjacent to Miami International Airport or Marlins Park.
