See Bjarke's 57th Street Tetrahedron In All Of Its Peaked Glory

New, 6 comments

Not only is Bjarke Ingels' impressive West Side pyramid tetrahedron now topped-out but it has gained its peak too, meaning 625 West 57th Street now stands in all of its 450 feet of angular glory. Field Condition recently visited the site to find that the tetrahedron has also started to get its windows, which make the impressively-shaped thing look a little less like a shark tooth and more like, well, a building. When complete in late 2015 or early 2016, the Durst Organization-developed structure will be home to 709 of the city's jazziest rentals.
