A Times piece on the Brooklyn Trust Company Building, which the Stahl Organization is partially converting into 12 luxury condos (with a Chase Bank continuing to operate in the main hall), reveals that construction will be completed in the spring and sales are expected to launch soon, with prices ranging from $3.35 million to $4.35 million. The apartments will range in size from two-bedrooms to five-bedroom duplexes. The building is a city and federal landmark, so some of the units will have quirky shapes "like ... a jigsaw puzzle," according to architect Barry Rice. In what is probably the quirkiest of the features, the top floor will forgo windows entirely for operable skylights.
