It's been almost three years since art tycoon Larry Gagosian began his massive reconstruction of the Harkness Mansion on the Upper East Side. Now, as the rebuild nears completion, it seems nobody's being allowed in to see the fruits of his alleged $70 million efforts. According to The Post, editors have been "begging" to be let in to photograph the Annabelle Selldorf-designed mansion, to no avail. "It's not being photographed by anyone," a source told the paper. Gagosian bought the mansion for $36.5 million in 2011, a full $16.5 million less than investor J. Christopher Flowers' initial asking price. [NYP; previously]
