Another massive apartment tower is coming to Long Island City. The Real Deal reports that Property Markets Group filed plans for a 70-story building at 29-37 41st Avenue near Queensboro Plaza, and it will hold a whopping 930 units. The L-shaped property wraps around the historic clock tower building, which PMG bought last year. The filings show plans for 15,000 square feet of commercial space split between six retail spaces, and it looks like this will be another amenity-laden building, as there will be a health club and swimming pool. The tower will rise 772 feet and the architect of record is SLCE. Previously, plans were in place for a 30-story building at the site, but you know what they saygo big, or go home.
