Kelly Ripa ditched Soho for $27M Upper East Side townhouse

In April 2013, the townhouse at 12 East 76th Street sold for a whopping $27 million to a buyer hidden behind an LLC, and now, nearly two years after the sale closed, the Daily News has learned who the mystery buyers are: talk show host Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos. The couple listed their Crosby Street penthouse in January 2013 for $24.5 million, but didn't manage to sell it until May 2014 (the final sale price was $20 million).

The 76th Street townhouse was never publicly listed, so there are no interior photos to ogle, but the facade is pretty lovely, especially when compared to what it used to look like. The place was completely overhauled before Ripa and Consuelos purchased it.
