$38 Million Apartment in Park Avenue Co-op Finds a Buyer

The luxurious 15th-floor apartment in Rosario Candela-designed co-op building 778 Park Avenue that used to belong to the late Roone Arledge, the former president of ABC Sports and ABC News, has gone into contract, the Post reports. The nine-room apartment, which includes a library and three terraces, was listed in June 2013 for $29 million, and was later taken off the market and relisted in October 2014 for a whopping $38 million. No word yet on who the buyer is or how much he or she will be paying, but it'll be a lot, and the co-op board at 778 Park allows only all-cash sales.
