Epic Fresco-Covered Dining Room Will Probably Be Gutted

New, 8 comments

Investment bank Jefferies spent most of 2014 embroiled in scandal, but it's a new year now, which means president Brian Friedman is totally clear to buy an expensive apartment now, right? Page Six reports that he's in contract to buy a $16.5 Fifth Avenue apartment—the very same one with a ridiculously frescoed dining room. The four-bedroom, 4.5-bath apartment, which takes up a full floor of 910 Fifth Avenue, is headed for a gut renovation, a source told the Post. That means we can probably bit farewell to the ornate trompe l'oeil. And the wood paneling, and the deeply veined blue marble.
