Mayor Bill de Blasio has big plans for affordable housing in East New York, but the rezoning proposal that could create 7,000 new apartments is meeting resistance from local leaders who feel that the plans are moving too quickly. The community board voted to suspend all official presentations by City Planning until they have a better understanding of the plan.
