Brace for a terrible contrast: February may have been the coldest month in the history of the world, but it was hot, hot, hot in terms of real estate sales over $4 million. The Olshan Luxury Market Report, which comes out every Monday and analyzes contracts that are higher than that threshold, says that February 2015 saw "a record 116 contracts at $4 million and above, a 23 percent increase over last year. Total volume of sales was $978 million, up 16 percent over February 2014." No deep freeze for the property market—just our extremities. [CurbedWire Inbox]
