A row of Tudor-style houses tucked mid-block between Broadway and West End avenues and 94th and 95th streets, Pomander Walk is probably The Cutest Street in New York City. Given that there are only about two dozen units with access to the shared pathway, which blooms with flowers in the summer and twinkles with Christmas lights all winter long, it's pretty exciting when a new one comes on the market. A two-room studio apartment along the Walk listed last week with a price tag of $375,000. Yes, it's petite, and the down payment required is almost $100K. But the monthly maintenance is reasonable, and it's the cheapest option available now (there's an entire house for $1.9M and a one-bedroom for $800,000). And can you really put a price on charm, history, and basically living in a place that's straight out of a fairy tale?
Remember, small things are awesome.
