Lackluster Two-Apartment Combo at The Plaza Seeks $25M

Joining the disappointingly long list of apartments available at the Plaza is this $25 million uncombined 11th-floor offering. As per its listing, apartments 1101 and 1102 can be combined to make a 3,800-square-foot five- or six-bedroom home in part overlooking Central Park. Although the combo pad's listing claims 11-foot ceilings, where exactly those high ceilings are—the aging (yet arguably timeless) Plaza has come under fire from some buyers for being "attic"-like—isn't really evident in its listing pictures. Apartment 1101 most recently sold for $9 million in 2009, and the neighboring 1102 sold in 2010 for $2.69 million.
