What was once going to be one of the tallest towers in Brooklyn will now be just another big apartment building. In September, developer JEMB Realty filed permits for a 65-story, 679-foot tower at 420 Albee Square across from City Point in Downtown Brooklyn, but the development has now been seriously reduced in size. Updated permits show it will now be 35 stories and 389 feet with 248 apartments, down from 620. [NYY; previously]
