What/Where: second-floor walkup in an East Village co-op building between Avenues C and D
Maintenance: $900
First, the positives: this one-bedroom co-op was just renovated and features an abundance of exposed brick, many large windows including three in the bedroom and one each in the kitchen and bathroom, high ceilings, and looks relatively spacious. On the other hand, it's a second-floor walkup and, even worse, it's located between Avenue C and Avenue D, which makes it a real schlep to the nearest subway. (It's about equidistant from the 1st Avenue L stop, the 2nd Avenue F stop, and the Delancy Street-Essex Street FJMZ.) It also seems a little light on closet space, although now we're getting nitpicky. So, how much do you think it's asking?
