Two New Residential Projects To Rise on Broadway (in Astoria)

New, 1 comment

The hot-but-not-too-hot (for now) neighborhood of Astoria will get two new residential developments on Broadway. The Queens Gazette reports that a four-story, five-apartment building will rise on the former site of Uncle George's Greek Restaurant at 33-19 Broadway. The building, replete with ground-floor restaurant, will have a fourth-floor penthouse apartment. Down the street No. 29-17, 64 apartments will rise atop of the neighborhood's popular C-Town grocery store, which will close during construction of the five-story topper. The expansion will also include the addition of another retail space and 32 parking spaces.
