Colorful Fifth Avenue Co-op Reduces Price to $23.5 Million

New, 10 comments

This co-op apartment in 1060 Fifth Avenue, a J. E. R. Carpenter-designed building, is in many ways a classic—the sprawling floorplan includes a sizable gallery, five bedrooms, a library, a formal dining room, and a master suite with a dressing room. However, it's also a good deal more bright and colorful than most Fifth Avenue co-ops (and most apartments in general) with a hodgepodge of wallpapers, paints, carpets, floor tiles, upholstery, and more. The apartment hit the market back in September with an asking price of $29 million and just cut that ask down to $23.5 million, a hefty 19 percent pricechop.
