Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.
These days, any unit on the top floor of a building technically qualifies as a penthouse, but still, penthouses are like pornography—you know one when you see it. And this one-bedroom, 710-square-foot purported penthouse atop a five-story Crown Heights condo building is not ringing any penthouse bells. It's perfectly nice, though, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a small private terrace, and it's $649,000, i significant increase from the $365,000 it wanted in 2011. Perhaps the change occurred when it discovered its penthouse lineage.
