After decades of planning, the Bronx's luxury public golf course has opened. Run by The Donald, who won a bid in 2010 to be its chief operator, and owned by the Parks Department, the Scottish-style course (read: no trees) on top of a defunct landfill cost the city some $127 million in all, the Times reports. A weekend game of 18 holes on the greens (which right now are more like browns) will cost city residents $169 and non-residents $215. The course, named Trump Golf Links Ferry Point, is the first built in the city since 1964. Opines Animal, "Underneath all the green is a big pile of trash, which is a pretty apt metaphor for Donald Trump and anyone who would fork over the cash to play there."
