101 Wall Street Prepares To Morph From Offices to Condos

New, 8 comments

Because rental-to-condo conversions, church-to-condo conversions, and hotel-to-condo conversions are just not enough for this city, take a gander at 101 Wall Street. The teaser site for building, formerly known as 99 Wall, just launched. The Claremont Group is turning its offices into 52 apartments, with interiors by in-demand Dutch designer Piet Boon. Sales are slated to launch this spring, but pricing is TBD.

Signage just went up on the site, where not even a year ago, Claremont was taking advantage of a clause in its tenants' leases to boot them and make way for this conversion. It was all rumor then, but a major loan in September confirmed it.
