Cornerspotted: 168th St. and Woodycrest Ave. in the Bronx

New, 2 comments

For the past 80-plus years, this site at the corner of 168th Street and Woodycrest Avenues in the Bronx has been home to the High Bridge branch of the New York Public Library. The building pictured in 1933 has given way to a structure that looks like, in the words of commenter (and Cornerspotter champ) grumps "a banal orthodox modern structure that could just as easily hold a CVS."
