Karl Fischer-Designed Queens Penthouse Now Wants $1.988M

New, 11 comments

Long Island City's The Powerhouse on 51st Avenue and 2nd Street was converted by noted architect Karl Fischer from a Pennsylvania Railroad power station, and now includes this penthouse, which was listed last summer for $2.288 million and now returns asking $1.988 million. The new listing includes pictures inside the bizarre, tubular (in the literal sense of the word, not like how surfers in the '70s used it) living room, which is described in the listing as an "airy living room ... enhanced by expansive Rotunda windows melded with industrial beams."
