New-Building Army Marches Over Prospect Park's Other Sides

New, 2 comments

The writing was on the wall when the Times published a trend story one year ago: Prospect-Lefferts Gardens (and its neighbor Flatbush to the south) is the flame, and developers are the moths. The new-building boom is hitting these areas to the east and south of Prospect Park, and it's hitting them hard. Local blog The Q at Parkside published a striking map that a local put together, in which each point is a development on the rise in the area—from bigger projects to smaller boutique-y ones. Or, more likely, each red teardrop-shaped point represents an actual tear shed by residents of the once-quiet neighborhoods.
