Karl Fischer Will Plop This Condo Building Down in Bed-Stuy

The ubiquitous Karl Fischer is doing his thing in Bed-Stuy with a new five-story condo building with ground-floor retail at 1060 Bedford Avenue. The development, from East Wing Construction, will replace a car repair shop (as condos continue to push cars out of New York City) and the design is typical Karl Fischer fare. NY YIMBY ran the first rendering today, and reported that initial plans, which actually call, illegally, for zero parking spaces, include 24 apartments, a gym, a lounge, and bike storage.
