This unremarkable and frankly odd looking apartment building designed by the one and only Karl Fischer will replace an equally unremarkable one-story office building on the Greenpoint waterfront (h/t YIMBY). The six-story building at 26 West Street between Oak and Cayler streets is being developed by the Rabsky Group and will have 72 apartments, 36 parking spots, bike storage, a recreation room, and an 1,100-square-foot roof deck. According to plans spotted by YIMBY, the building will also be equipped with flood seals meaning that it's pretty much a proverbial Noah's Ark of bad design.
