The 18-story 20 East End Avenue is the latest project from architect Robert A.M. Stern to move from rendering to reality. The marketing team for developer Corigin Real Estate Group sent over a few photos of the site, located at the corner of East 80th Street, and report that construction of the first floor is complete. With its many-terraced crown and porte-cochère,the building fit right in with the grand, classic prewar structures in the neighborhood when it opens in 2016. Inside, the 43 large, pricey homes are also completely designed by Robert A.M. Stern, and several feature wood-burning or gas fireplaces. Sales launched in January, and the building is currently 30 percent sold. Currently, StreetEasy lists a $4.535M 1,912-square-foot two-bedroom as the least expensive unit, while a $11.5M townhouse is the most expensive.
